When serious illness becomes part of life, decisions often arrive faster than understanding or confidence. I’ve seen how families struggle with complex choices—not because care is inadequate, but because there is rarely enough time or space to slow down, reflect, and talk things through.
We offer structured, non-clinical decision support to help patients and families pause, communicate more clearly, and align care with what matters most to them.
Why This Support Matters
Early in my career, I learned that medicine is about far more than tests and treatments. It is about understanding what matters most to you and your family, especially when the path forward is uncertain.
Often, the hardest part is not the medical information itself, but finding clarity, confidence, and peace with the choices that must be made. This support is meant to help fill that gap, without replacing clinical care or the guidance of your treating clinicians.
What This Support Looks Like
This work centers on thoughtful, structured conversations. We may focus on organizing questions, clarifying priorities, preparing for conversations with your care team, and easing the pressure of making important decisions in moments of crisis.
Our Process
We begin by slowing things down.
Typically, this work starts with an initial conversation to understand your situation, what decisions feel most pressing, and whether this kind of support is a good fit. From there, we decide together how to move forward—whether through individual conversations, family meetings, or short-term support over time.
There is no set script. The process is flexible and responsive to what you and your family need most in that moment.
How Support Is Offered
Support is offered through one-on-one sessions, facilitated family conversations, and small-group gatherings focused on shared learning and support. These are non-clinical conversations designed to help you think clearly, communicate effectively, and move forward with greater confidence.
How Support Is Structured
Because this work happens outside of traditional medical visits, services are offered on a self-pay basis and are not billed through insurance. Rates are shared openly to support transparency and informed choice.
Initial conversation (30 minutes): $150
A focused conversation to understand your situation and determine next steps.
Individual decision support sessions (60–75 minutes): $300
One-on-one conversations for patients or caregivers.
Facilitated family conversations (90 minutes): $500
Structured meetings for families navigating complex or emotionally charged decisions.
Support packages
Short-term and family support packages are available when ongoing conversations are helpful.
If cost is a concern, we encourage you to reach out. Our goal is to keep this work accessible while preserving the time and attention it requires.
What This Is Not
This service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace care from licensed medical providers and is not billed through insurance. When medical questions arise, we encourage you to bring them back to your care team.
A Bit About Me
I have cared for women through every phase of gynecologic cancer and serious illness—before, during, and after diagnosis. Over time, I have learned that understanding goals and priorities often matters just as much as the medical decisions themselves.
This work is guided by that experience and by the relationships I have been privileged to share with patients and families over the years.
